Fur & Feather match 25th October.
As those who have already booked will know the Fur & Feather is being fished at Filham. I have had a tremendous response already with only a couple of spare places left. Because of this we can confirm that the lake will be closed from 8am on Sunday 25th of October until approx 5pm when the weigh in is finished. If you are not busy on the day you could still bag one of the last 2 spots.Either ring me on 07533 032692 or message or E:Mail from here. I am looking forward to a very close match and fully expect all the usual banter as well. Good luck to all.

Its bound to be a good bantered match...especially as the carp fraternity are entering a few members to the match!!
I did get some practice in at Milton coome, catching a 2 ounce roach on a piece of meat...pierced both lips? god knows how he did it!! That was just after the 21lb common..sorry, had to get that one in lol
"Does that come in Realtree?"

Fishing has not been that good at Filham lately. Everybody I talked to says it's slow going. Yesterday the fish seemed to be quiet for an hour or so and then came on the feed for about 2 hours and then went quiet again.
Good luck with the competition tomorrow. Weather looks promising...whatever the fishing, it's a great place to spend a day...

Are the results published for the Fur and Feathers yet? I'd be interested to know the weights and species?
